Videos NEXTREX RECYCLING CHALLENGE
For more than 30 years, Trex has transformed everyday waste into high-performance outdoor living products, a reflection of our deep commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation. Through the dedication of eco-minded schools, churches, nonprofits and communities participating in the NexTrex program, millions of pounds of plastic film are diverted from landfills and waterways each year and given new life as beautiful and sustainable Trex decking." With the NexTrex program, you not only know exactly where your recycled plastic film is going but also how it will be used. Together with our commercial and community partners across the country, we are able to divert plastic waste from ending up in landfills and give it new life as beautiful and sustainable Trex decking." Emily Whitacre, Recycling Programs Coordinator Trex® Company

NEXTREX RECYCLING CHALLENGE PROGRAM
Trex® is refreshing the Recycling Challenge and is excited to announce that instead of one opportunity to earn a reward, Trex® will now offer quarterly drawings. This provides groups the opportunity to earn the chance to win rewards up to four times per year. This fun, inclusive format allows every participant a chance to be recognized, while reducing pressure to meet specific collection goals. The updated program launches in January, so new registrations are paused until then giving everyone time to get ready for a more engaging and rewarding Recycling Challenge! Trex® is dedicated to educating proper recycling practices for plastic bags and other soft plastic films through its Recycling Challenge. The company proudly supports local recycling initiatives across the country by partnering with participating organizations, including K12 schools, civic groups, houses of worship, and colleges and universities.

Trex is excited to announce the Q3 2026 winners of our NexTrex Quarterly Drawing! Through NexTrex, collected plastic film is recycled into durable, eco-friendly Trex deckingproof that small actions create lasting impact. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped turn plastic waste into something extraordinary. We appreciate every partner who continues to recycle, participate, and help protect our planet. Keep collectingyou could be a winner in the next drawing! See Q3 Winners
